In light of the UK Bank Holiday, the Sales & Support departments will both be CLOSED from Saturday 28th August 2010 to Monday 30th August 2010. Just Added: Over 40 training videos & tutorials

Free for all members, we have just added over 40 new videos. Existing members can access this through the Support Center. Some of the topics covered, include uploading files to FTP, administering your database through phpMyAdmin, and much more. phpPennyAuction will also be adding further training videos and tutorials in the future, to the library.

We’re back up

After some heavy delays, the phpPennyAuction website is now fully back up and ready. We will be installing an SSL Certificate shortly so the Support Center may go down or be unreachable whilst that is being done. Since it’s taken a while, I wanted to to share some of the details about the server we are now using:

    APC enabled
    W3 Cache

Bank Holiday Weekend (May 29th – 31st)

Demo request system issue – resolved

Our sincerest apologies to all those who have been trying to request Admin details in the past 24 hours. This issue is now resolved, and the Demo system is back up. A corrupted value in the database was causing all sorts of errors. This is now fully resolved. You can request admin details by clicking here and the login information will be sent to you instantly.

Easter Opening Hours (2010)

There will be a slight change in our usual posted opening hours during the Easter break.  They are as follows:

Good Friday (April 2nd) Closed

Easter Saturday (April 3rd) Closed

Easter Sunday (April 4th) Closed

Easter Monday (April 5th) Closed

Tuesday (April 6th)+ Normal service resumes
We will offer our usual  emergency (critical issues only) service to existing members during the Easter break. Non-critical issues will be responded to when normal service resumes. Lastly, on behalf of everyone here, may we take this opportunity to  wish you all a great Easter 2010!

Penny Auction Software

Just a quick update to those of you waiting patiently for the next release (version 2.4) of our penny auction software. We’re about 90% ready and will be rolling out a ‘final beta’ shortly.  The changes that we’ve made to the Admin Panel are now complete – please request screenshots if you’d like to view them, or we will be adding them here shortly.

Note that ALL members will receive a free upgrade to v2.4 when it goes live – unlike competitors, we don’t believe in charging our loyal members just to upgrade. Whether you’ve been with us for a day or a year, every single member will benefit. Please remember to follow our Twitter feed for updates.
