We have encrypted and obfuscated a handful of files in the software with ionCube to prevent the software from being illegally distributed, however the encrypted license files are completely redundant and have no other use. You can customize the software as much or as little as you want. All of the core parts of the software are open-source, only the license files are restricted. What language(s) does the software support?

The PHPPennyAuction script is by default in English, however translation to other languages is very easy. The script was built from the ground-up so that any changes to the language will be made instantly across the entire website. We now include a number of FREE language packs with both the Standard and Professional packages.

Do I need any experience to use your software?

No. The script was built with usability in mind and does not require any specialist knowledge to run and operate. In addition, we now include free installation with every order, so we take care of all the major aspects of setting up your website for you, should you require it. Those without experience may want to consider our most fully-featured option, the Professional package.

What are your support hours?

Our regular support hours are 10am to 7pm GMT (+5 EST), Mon – Sat. We are closed Sundays. Please check our Blog for Holidays information and updates.

Am I allowed to change the look/design of the script?

Yes, you are free to customize the software as much as you wish. We don’t impose any regulations or rules on what can be done with your copy of the software, unlike other providers. We also do not insist on a link back to our website.

We provide FREE priority support with the Professional package, which means your tickets are placed higher than those customers who are on our Standard package. We offer FREE LiveChat, FREE access to our Knowledge Base (available 24/7), a members-only forum, Wiki and ticket- & email-based support. We have Support Staff available 7 days a week to assist with any problems or questions you might have. Please note that we do not currently offer Phone Support, as this helps to keep down our overheads – of course, we then pass these savings on to you in the form of lower prices!
